In the kingdom's of the old,
with there knights of lore.
Dragon's were beast's to be feared,
upon great wing's they soared.

Dragon's were cursed by King's,
and hunted down by knights.
Thus they were always,
being forced into a fight.

Many a knight has tried,
and so sealed their fate.
They did the dance with dragons,
and were melted with their plate.

Dragon's were not craven,
and would face any knight.
But in their heart's,
they loath to fight.

Dragon's are most beautiful,
in their green, black, and red.
It is such a shame that,
the knights wanted them dead.

Their hides were made to armor,
for the knight's to wear.
It was impervious to fire,
and resisted rip or tear.

With their new armor,
they hunted night and day.
Being impervious to fire,
dragons became easy pray.

But that is all the past,
and the dragon's are all gone.
Today is but a shadow,
and tomorrow is a new dawn.

Not bad at all, my friend.

This is nicely written. What book did this idea come from?
