My Creator "(C)" Lost Dreamer 7/98

I see you in the morning
as the stars are shining bright
I feel you always with me
as I gather in each day
I know that you are guiding me
to find the righteous way
I want to make you happy
each and every day

You are my creator
you sustain me with life
You are my strength
when the going gets tough
You gave to me two parents
to love me best they could
You gave to me a husband
to love eternally
You gave to me two children
to share life with me

You may be a figment
of my imagination
but my soul knows your there
I know that you are everywhere
watching over everyone
You have a constant battle
never is it won
for the worlds in constant turmoil
always fighting everyone

The peace you so desire
is lurking in the air
waiting for the world
to join together and share

I write these words for all to see
that God is the one
who sits by patiently
for you to come to realize
that he is here for everyone.

point to ponder: dark poems get a lot more replies than faith poems...what does that say about our society?
