I have found a pearl In the most unlikely place In souther swamp Buried in a peculiar vase She is pure and unblemished As beautiful as can be I gaze at her in amazement Who is she? I wonder how she was formed So delicate and stunning So smooth to the touch In excitement my heart begins drumming Thinking about the possibilities The list is unending. Yet the time to remove her Is still pending So I hide her away again hoping no one else will find her Leaving a little piece of my heart Praying that it would be enough of a claimer. |
