Bugs, bugs A wonderful treat In bed At night While you sleep. I hear in life Eight You'll eat. I wonder if Bugs Should be considered The other white meat? (Lost Dreamer: Thanks for the bow on "Black & Crunchy." Glad I could cause such a response.) |

I'll admit it. "Little Miss Muffit's Revenge" got it started... Balladeer put his two cents in with a fine response... Then Lost Dreamer was inspired with "Black & Crunchy" (good show there). This is just me saying thanks. And YES! dear Elvira, we would love to see something buggy from you and anyone else who feels the need to get down and crawl. Bon' appetite! |

I love bugs. They're really great! They help put food on my plate. Finding them is my obsession Since I am part of that profession! |

Am I reading this correct? Is Sir Balladeer at Entomologist? Or do you work for Terminex? Thanks DH and thursdayscild (is that full of woe?) for coming by. |

Excellent, this is getting mighty fun, but the other white meat I think I'll pass. 8 in a lifetime is more then enough for me. |

how intently stares my kitten i wonder with what she's smitten trying to see from her point of view perhaps she is staring at my shoe? try as i might i cannot find what seems to occupy her mind down on the floor i sit and try to play just as she pounces on the invisible prey i crouch down deeper and take a closer look what do i see? a dead bug!...is a good bug in my book |

Here kitty, Good kitty, Kill the bug for Elvira lady. Squashed and dead is a very nice look But please kitty Just not in my book. The i's have been dotted The t's have been crossed And with their guts on the page Sometimes the meaning gets lost. So track them down With a killing look A good bugs, a dead bug Just not in my book. |

Andrew (and anyone else, for that matter)...if you are in the mood for a quick rhyme, have a peek at my "chat - acronym challenge" [This message has been edited by elvira (edited 07-23-99).] |

O.k. Andrew, Now can you do one on my other favorite bugs The Centipede. Let me see your creative juices drip. I would try, but I hate them so much I would be sqirming, and cringing myself to death. I just had a horrible thought, what if one of them crawled in while we were sleeping. Egad! I better shut my mind down before I become an insomniac without even knowing.
