I am, at once, all peace without and turmoil within my burdened heart you leave me cold and wanting passioned and spent pained and aching I long not for security's duvet my heart cries only for you my forbidden tempter my rapturous deception you make my blood boil with recollection the lust rises hot, sure and firey your name echoes to the blackness of night and in the dark I find solace in my tears for the walls comfort me the night creatures warily watch my unbound sorrows flow freely to earth tears watering Agonies Garden as my heart and soul remember the day when I was truly yours before we waltzed this death dance of pain wondering just how long we can hold on to this charade and impropriety while my soul lies chained with golden circlet, to another ------------------ "I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself, than to be crowded on a velvet cushion." .....Henry David Thoreau |
