As we eye the blue horizon's bend, earth and sky appear to meet end to end. But it's mearly an illusion, like your heart and mine, there is no sweet conclusion. I can see no matter how near you'll be, you"ll never belong to me. But I can dream can't I? Can't I pretend that I'm locked in the bend of you embrace? For dreams are just like wine, and I'm drunk with mine. I'm aware, my heart is a sad affair. There's much disillusion there. But I can dream can't I? Can't I adore you although we are oceans apart. I can't make you open your heart, but I can dream can't I. ------------------ Angel Hugs |

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Fred. Oh, and the lyrics were written by Irving Kahal & Sammy Fain. The (superb!) artist who sang it last (I think it was a re-make from a much earlier release) was Karen Carpenter. Be still my fluttering heart! tacojen, I would very much appreciate it if you would simply find another web site to post "your" work. I have stuff plastered all over the main site about respecting other people's copyrights, because I really do take it seriously. Guess I'll have to put up a couple of signs over here, too...
