The winds silently blew against the fortress, of ice it was wrought, and it was tall ~ beyond the towers laid the sea in a mist, The ground cold and of snow, of ice, of the arctic wind blowing, with a tall fortress in the faint distance, of glass-crystals it looked, ever-sparkling, the most beautiful in the world, but of death, of avengers, it did rest, the chain clanging, the prisoners shouting, a doomed death in the dungeon; Outside, wolves walked in the trees, hidden as a shadow in the snow, hidden… waiting for the high noon sun, hungry, always hungry, but never in vain; the queen was a master of enchantment, in her spells she devised, upon her tower, the never changing snow, swirling in the lands known to the north as Osgroth. ------------------ Nimrod the Hunter |
