The Children Labels on the wall directing us down the hallway and to the left. For there we will find the children all dressed in costumes, waiting patiently to go on stage. You enter the auditorium you venture to find a seat, as near to the front as possible for then the voices of the children echo in your head like a symphony. Lost in their performance smile glued upon your face waiting for the moment the applause will take place. The children's joyful expressions abounding from the audiences appreciation. They have mastered the art of performing before their parents and all the others who came for the pleasure of viewing young talent in action. |

this one made me reminiscent of my young actress days..........the key to a good performance is to keep that childlike excitement. Bravo ------------------ "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot |

Having been on both sides of the curtain, I relate to the full dose of feeling. |

You wonder who's more excited and nervous...the child or the parent...I think the parent.. Cute poem! |
