He broke your heart, and you tried to hold back your tears. You tried to forget all the moments, and you tried to replace him with another. But no one can replace the kiss, No one can replace the feeling, No one can replace his laughter, his tears, or the trace he left in your heart. You still have the roses, the pictures, and the letters because you can not seem to let them go. You hold on and try to fight it, but inside you feel nothing but emptiness. You hope he never calls, but yet your heart beats when you hear the phone ring. You act as though you do not see him, as your heart sinks, unable to breath. When you hear his name all the trying to forget him just fails. You can not erase his name on your heart, because it only leaves a burn. You look up at the stars, but they do not shine as bright anymore. Your friends are tired of hearing about him, and you are tired of telling them, But you can not stop because he, was all that you knew. You think about how times are different now, the days you knew he would be there, but he isn’t. And you try and try to forget about him, But no one or nothing can replace the love that you had, of your first love. By: Rita Bowles |

It sounds like you lost a boyfriend or husband. While I've never really experienced something like that.I feel for you. From the way you write it seems like you want to let go,but it's so hard.Good luck and keep writing. |

I can relate to your poem of lost love and found it brought back old memories. It really touched me. |
