Marilyn and me, we'd been so long together We faced the stormy weather And that's why I believed In Marilyn and me Marilyn and me, we'd been so many places And now it seems like ages That she and I were free To be Marilyn and me Marilyn and me, we really used to be Closer than a hug, our souls exchanged the love That was meant to be For Marilyn and me Marilyn and me, we drifted thru the ages And as we turn the pages It's painful to see There's no more Marilyn and me Marilyn and me, tears fall down like rain My heart won't beat the same I keep callin' out your name Marilyn it's me! Marilyn and me, I always thought we'd be But there's nothing left to say We'll go our separate way Marilyn and me Marilyn and me, it's brought me to my knees God help me please Teach me how to breathe without Marilyn and me Marilyn and me, as I turn to leave Looking back I see The way it used to be Marilyn and me ------------------ Work like money doesn't matter, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching... |
