Dressed as breeze She comes Melancholy, soft, distant Whispering Of Her home far away. Garbed in river She softly sings A familiar, unknown tune In sunlit robes She dazzles Forcing closed open eyes to increase their vision. Swaying In gowns of sycamore Her slender limbs stand Gracefully revealed, reaching Always heavenward. Her mossy slippers bespeak Her humility And Her veil. Oh! Her veil. It rends the heart Why One so finely dressed So high of estate Always calling for attention Why??? Must She choose to wear so thick a veil... |
