I drift a solitary sea No other ships on the horizon Time has forgotten me My soul becomes wizened. I hardly remember the day The gull left my stern Or the dolphin And which way he swam before I learned That a storm was rolling in, Black clouds covered the night Soon after, the rain began Furious with all its might. Waves threatened to capsize, I bailed with a fury And even though I tried I couldn't help but worry What would become of me? Would I make it through the night? In my moment of agony I saw the guiding light. I made it through that gale I will make it through the next Sun-weathered and wind pale Life over death is best. |

A moving peace of work, Genea. I love the hope that comes from it. Thank you for sharing. ------------------ ..And down from the eternal heavens comes fate's jeweled fingertips, it's magic flowing into awaiting souls..--Krista Knutson *Krista Knutson* |
