She stood firmly on the side of light, afraid of what quick glimpse she could see of the mystery shrouded in the gloaming of the ever roaming endless night. From the wall of roiling black, a tendril of glittering mist reached across the rippling divide. Try as she might, she couldn't stop her delight as it reached deep inside. Coaxing her along with it's potent siren song, Evil laid hold of her soul, It's only goal the subjugation of her right to be free of the shackles of guilt and misery. It slowly, cajoling as it went, lowered her into the Pit, worse it made her enjoy every minute of it. Listening to the wisdom of the Evil night began to steal Heaven from her sight. From the dregs of iniquity, I see her downward slide, moving me to pity. When before I counted each woman a whore, she made me see, rocked me to the core. From the depths of this intimate abyss, I reached forth to support before she accepted Evil's kiss, a bridge for her stand upon and ponder whatever made her wander. Seeing the gleaming of my hellish eyes, she asked me why I would help her to the other side. Evil being my due. With a glance at her thighs, I made an oath I will never rue: I will always support you. You are my bridge she said. One who helps me to cross over, not a beast or wanton lover. Should I turn around, you wont let me down, only help me on my way. That is what I've become, a bridge to the young, between the Darkness and Light, try as I might to rail against the light, somehow you see, it became a part of me. ©1999 DreamEvil ------------------ I am not responsible for how you choose to interpret what I say. The darkness in a room is immediately and thouroughly evicted with the simple lighting of a light bulb. There has never been, however, a dark bulb that could subdue the light. So with us. |
