Societies Dirty Trash Pass me by everyday Just turn and look the other way Know that I am here to stay Societies dirty trash Spit on me as you pass Watch me bleed on broken glass Wealth is something I cannot amass Societies dirty trash Listen not to my voice Pretend I had another choice Notice not my skin is moist Societies dirty trash Even the President, he did sin Let’s not forget the Congressmen We all have it deep within Societies dirty trash Pass me by like you don’t see I am who you might be If circumstances were viewed differently You’d be to me Societies dirty trash. ------------------ Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

i do so despise judgemental people...thanks for telling them off in your poem! ------------------ i never call a poem "nice" or such, for that would not be saying much |

Score!! I like this departure from tragic love, it moves me and soothes me, may I assume you meant this to be? ------------------ I am not responsible for how you choose to interpret what I say. DreamEvil© |

Yes Dream, even I can find it in me to let go of the writing I know so well once in awhile! (of course in the end, something dies here too...hopefully this time it is a bit of the prejudice too many people hold for circumstances they know nothing of)To both you and Elvira...Thank you. ------------------ For sometimes when the Darkness falls, we must surrender, take what is ours, and give what we can, and always remember love is somewhere waiting... |
