Waiting it seems an eternity For someone who will truly love me I thought that day I would never see I thought that God did not hear my plea Blinded by tears, in darkness I grope Looking for some way that I can cope Feeling that I'm on a downward slope Trying so hard to hold onto hope For unconditional love I pray Someone to hold me every day Someone who cares what I have to say Someone to share whether work or play I need someone whose heart is true Someone whose gentle and loving too To stand with me whatever I do All that I need I have found in you No more arguments, no more strife No more heartache to cut like a knife Waiting it seems for all of my life For you, Kari Lynn, to be my wife... ------------------ Steven Seaman A burden shared is a burden lightened A life shared is a life enriched |

I, too, waited for what seemed an eternity. Today, I am, for the first time in my life, contented and at peace. I know I am where I belong. No matter what obstacles life puts in our path, true love seems to have a way of winning in the end. I never dreamed I would be where I am today. You, Steve, are the love of my life. |
