Age after age on the wheel of time I have been yours and you have been mine Our souls once created as a matching pair Life after life we are destined to share Time after time in the web of fate Our threads will meet, will merge, will mate And course through eternity side by side Turn after turn you have been my bride When from this lifetime your soul must part I will go on with but half of my heart Knowing that in time we shall love again It's not a question of if but a question of when Each turn of the wheel our souls bind together Heaven will be when that bond lasts forever... |

I have seen the future and its looking fairly blue How are we supposed to compete with guys like you Your poems make my prattle sound really rank I bet you’ve got a six pack and money in the bank I have seen the future and I don’t know what to do I’m turning green with envy in seven shades and hue Give up poetry and give the rest of us a chance Write an epic western or a classical romance I have seen the future and it isn’t brave or new I’m getting in the poets bread line form a queue I have seen the future and it kills me but its true I have seen a future famous poet and its you I guess I'll get over it in a year or three! But please, please tell me you don't write this good ALL the time!!! |
