The night - a midnight sky Was cold and cloud filled. The air was wet with ice drops That brought my skin to chill. The Silence - a beautiful sound Was calm but broken By the sounds of a winter night And brought my mind to rest. A scream - a soul-less cry From beyond the hideous night Painfully scratched my ear And brought my blood to boil. The voice - a lost soul Was somewhere in the night Lost and afraid -cold and alone It brough my heart to race. It was me - the insanity That calls out in the dark The pain and the seclusion It brought my mind to chaos. ------------------ www.auburn.edu/~fergum1 ~*Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars*~ |

The imagery is nipping at my heels, I'd be looking over my shoulder. ------------------ I am not responsible for how you choose to interpret what I say. |
