I want to crow to the world the way that I feel, to let everyone know
That she
is perfectly the one for me.

From high atop this balcony, this height she has risen me to, I survey and purvey
And try to decide
Who will be my sacrifice to her
Tonight.

I wish to spell out my love with true artistry, with beauty and grace and attention to detail.
The same suffering again and again makes me lose face and jaded hearts cry to no
Avail.

My spirits are lifted, my heart is made gay, her love has lifted my soul, banishing the gray. I used to long for the night, it's every delight, now I long for the
Day.

What can I do to show my love, my Darkness appeals to her. Hearts and flowers, I know nothing of, unless you count being a butcher.

Compassion and courtesy just have never appealed
To me you see,
I am more the kind to play with your mind and toss
You away
But now I find
She brings out the best in me.

is this about a vampire? It just sounds like the speaker is a vampire
i.e. same suffering again and again, i used to long for the night with its every delight.
