I really enjoy comic verse. Why not have a forum called "The Funny Bone" or something like that especially for humorous poetics? I scanned the poet's forum but the sites were all to "borum" for postin' giggly silly wares. To make this forum no one dares. I guess the verbal clowns'll wait and go on doing what they hate, namely sticking slapstick verse with poet's "poems of the hearse." For how can belly laughs adorn a place made first to muse and mourn, as poet minds are apt to do. (and yet they need a tickle too!!) Please heed my not so silent plea whoever has the "techno-key" to make a laughin poet's hall. We jest want our respect, that's all! What do ya'll think? |

Far be it from me to disagree, But, I like my humor spontaneously. Sprinkled 'round the forums here. Surprised when I find that bit of cheer. When I least expect to find a smile, I like stumbling into a bit of glee. But Marge, I wouldn't dare imply to leave all other forums dry or say that humor can't appear (for that would make these places drear!) I only meant to say somehow perhaps it's time. Perhaps it's now that we should help these smiles that roam. For even clowns deserve a home. If they had such a place of rest where they could soak their clown feet best and wash their red and frizzy wigs and smoke a few exploding cigs or polish up their red round noses, we would find good humor growses! And they would visit more and more, for spreading grins is what they're for!!! They jest desire a place to live I plea... Is this too much to give? But Oh if not. It'll be okay they'll give us giggles anyway. They'll go on shining laughter's sun just so we can have some fun. But do remember underneath those flappy suits and wind-up teeth, past polka dots and jugglin' balls a bleeding human clown heart calls. (Not to be taken too seriously!!!!!) I agree......sometimes im in the mood for a funny poem and i have to search the masses for them. All those in favor say Aye AYE!  "I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust." I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |
