Hi Ron, I know this is only going to add to your list of things but I would like to see what everyone thought about it. I am suggesting an anonymous advice forum for those of us (and yes I am included) who would be embarassed about certain issues if everyone could see who had asked. I'm not sure if this is even possible but I think it could and would be a high traffic forum, which in turn could generate more money from advertising. I am certain that most of us would like to see this come about. I know I am always too embarassed to ask about certain things and problems. Anyway, I just wanted to see if this is possible and what everyone else thinks. It could work the same as all the rest of the forums. Someone comes in asks a question (anonymously of course) and whoever has been in that situation could then come in and offer advice. Learned truths from their experiences so to speak. Or maybe we could have a choice to make our posts anonymous. |

That is a very interesting idea Jeffery! Sort of like friends helping out friends without having that person seeking advice being made to feel pointed out or foolish in any way. I like it! Marina It is a blessing to have wings for words, and passion in pen Marina Crossley |

I think it's a great suggestion. Also though, what you might want to take a look at (if you haven't already) are the Q&A and Feelings forums. Those two discussion forums are open to all (ie: one doesn't have to be a registered member to post). Over time they have both evolved, particularly the Feelings forum, into advice forums of a sort. The fact that you don't need a 'username' to post there, ensures anonymity if it's about a subject you're not comfortable talking about using your Passions name. Keeping in mind the posting guidelines, of course. Whereas I think it's an excellent suggestion, Jeffrey, I don't know if Ron would want to create another advice forum since those two are already in place and well established. In the meantime, try perusing Feelings and see if it's along the lines of what you're suggesting. Nicole |

ok Satiate if you ARE a registered member and you post a question that you feel uncomfortable does it not show your username? Maybe Ron could put a check box in one of these forums that would allow us to post question anonymously? I dunno ......that is why I asked (smile) Ok.....wait I see what you are saying now DUHHH!!!! When you go in there just remove your username and password from the submit page right? Then you could post as "unregistered" Thanks Satiate, I really hadn't thought of this before |
