Is it possible to make the editing window wider? It is way too small. Also, it would be really helpful to see the thread when replying as a reference. Perhaps there is a toggle in our profile that is available but I missed. Will |

Imagine for a moment that we did make it wider. Say, about ten or twenty times wider? Wow, that would be too wide, wouldn't it, forcing you to scroll to the right as you typed, then back to the left as your sentences wrapped, then back to the right again . . . Well, that's what would happen to our Members with small screens if we made it ANY wider than what it is right now. All of our forms are designed for a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels, which for many years was the lowest common denominator. Most people have moved up to 800 by 600, and even 1024 by 768 is sometimes considered the new LCD, but there's still enough people out there with older equipment to warrant some consideration, I think. Having the input area smaller than your screen is a bit of an inconvenience, I'm sure. But having it bigger than your screen is a major pain. Oh, and the next time you're replying to a post, look for the link titled "Topic Review." I think that's the one you want. |

Could it be made adjustable so the member could adjust it to whatever size seems best? |
