I was wondering how feasible it would be to create a chat room for PIPS.  I know it would just be more work...but I think it would be a great way for people to chat with each other outside of a forum.

I think it's a good idea (and a great escape for me during class LOL)  Anyone else agree?

There's ICQ; Instant Messenger; AOL; and a host of other ways in which to do so.  Ron has to keep upgrading the servers just to host the poetry alone - at no small expense.

There used to be a Teen Chat Forum - unfortunately, however, it was not "taken care of" by the Teens, and would often run rampant with matters that needed continual monitoring.  So, that forum ceased to be a part of Passions.

Yeah, I know there are chat programs.  I have a few people added, but there are people who haven't put that method on their pc's.

As for the teen chat...don't think I'd be too inclined to join that LOL

But, I knew it would be a lot of work when I suggested it...was just asking... :-)

Thanks for the reply!

Well - Ron's already devoting so much of his time to this place, methinks the burdens would far outweigh the benefits... especially with so many available programs out there... Remember that MSN is pretty much a standard part of Windows now.  Not too many are doing without any longer...

There ie a chat on here that many of the PIPsters go to on occasion... they even announce it in the...uh... "announcement" section of the blue pages.
Check it out.

My ex-wife says I never listened to her. At least I think that's what
she said
