I sit here crying - can't stop crying reading all the words you write - I sit here pleading - merely begging... to see a sign that say's it's right... On Tuesday night I sat at home knowing you were very near - I watched the clock upon my wall time ticked away replaced by fear. I wanted to be there for you - to meet you at the station... My heart & soul both tell me that you are my destination. I had to fight the urge to run with keys in hand out to my car - to speed down Highway 51 and now I wonder where you are. I had my chance to meet you love - and now I sit here crying.... Why do I always miss my mark - my soul feels like it's dying. So many reasons why I say it might have been too soon - But truth be known - I wanted you here under Memphis moon......... ------------------ I beckon you to come...I lure you with my tongue... - poet FemmeFatale |

heartfelt poem leaving the reader wondering what is the fear that prevented you from keeping your meeting plan....I could really feel the strong emotions pouring from your soul in this piece.....sending hugs and hoping that there will be a happy ending....lol ------------------ May your days be filled with lots of sunshine and your nights lit up by golden moonbeams |

Now you're not being fair, Femme, kicking out two poems faster than I could possibly respond to one. (And such good ones too). Seriously this is so beautiful, I'm content to let it linger through my thoughts for awile. Maybe next time I'll just show up at the door though.
