After all I've been through,
after all I've seen,
I'm still strong,
I'm still holding' on.
I'll never let go,
some of the secrets I know.
Why can't I cry?
Why does body feel as if it's
going to shut down and die?
Why can't I feel?
When will I ever heal?
Sometimes I feel like
a mother-less child,
and I don't know
what to do mean while.
Something's holdin' me,
something's keepin' down,
I feel like I'm gonna' drown.
Through all the ashes,
I will rise,
and you will see only
love in my eyes.

Powerful. We've all felt the same way, Trynete.

Trynete - I really like this - I do think you have a knack for poetry.... I said "hello" to your teacher for you - and told her you're writing some good stuff - She said that you do her proud!!!

Ready for Floyd??? Settle in with your pen and paper tonight, my friend...

yeah, Trinity - Nan taught you teacher's teacher well - lol. Seriously though, you did very well with this theme (and I KNOW Nan is younger than me!)
