She must arrange her paper clips Within their little plastic bin, And set her clock and dust her desk And plug her pencil sharpener in. She must turn her computer on And give it time to come awake, Adjust the cushion on her chair, "My goodness, time for coffee break." She prepares the daily schedule, Opens mail, and there's a bunch, Adjusts the cushion on her chair, "I can't believe it's time for lunch." She must call Propott and Sinclair, Wait on hold and read her screen, Adjust the cushion on her chair, Make sure the keyboard's nice and clean. She must file away some folders, For sixteen minutes, working steady, But first, the cushion on her chair. "What's this, quitting time already." |

Wouldn't have that kind of job To have sit and look busy I'd rather have the one I've got Though it sometimes makes me dizzy No a minute to call my own Someone else controls my time But when day rolls around I know I've every dime!!! Blessed are the good secretary's of the world!!! Cute poem!!!! Hope to see more! |

Its especially nice to watch the secretary bend over her chair to adjust that cushion! yessiree - tying a string onto the cushion so I can pull it out of alignment was a real stroke of genious! ooops |
