My God

A thundering awareness
of pain
crashes
through my brain
pulsing in time
to a heartbeat
not my own
as with
muffled screams
I groan.

Maddening echoes
bounce around
my head
blinding me
with a saddening
lack
of concentration
that does attack
my fragile
sanity.

Coruscating waves
of agony
become
both litany
and refrain
to drop me
to my knee
before
the god
Migraine.

I suffer these with you, and feel every bit of your pain. A truly horrid pain it is. Seems the vise is making its rounds today.
