I lie on my bed
Thoughts rambling through my head
Things that I want to say
Yet realize there is no way

Will you be near
When I express my feelings so dear
Will you sigh relief
Or show utter disbelief

I really want to talk
But Im afraid you'll balk
I gather my pillow around my head
As I lie restless on the bed

Silent tears
That no one hears
Each one finds its place
As it washes my face

My pillow is my beloved friend
On it I can always depend
It is always near
To gather a tear
