Caliginous cacophony filled with slag
DarkSong bellows a tune to DarkRag
Mysterious melancholy chills made of
DarkRainbow shadows over DarkDove
Profound pedantry from each mouth
DarkTraveler journeys to DarkSouth
Depravity deepens and splits the whole
DarkSilver drained from each DarkSoul
Gloom gathering silent monotony
DarkSea slicing into DarkNanny
Doleful drums midnight stabbin’
DarkCrag falls prey to DarkTabin
Penumbral pulses have no choice
DarkAngel can silence DarkVoice
Wild wounds stirred into salt
DarkCat slashes into DarkWalt
Secret seminaries in darkened cowl
DarkFemme quiets the hoot of DarkOwl
Hell’s halls are the Devil’s mine
Hidden from sight is DarkdeVine

This is quite a departure for you, ms. dv and I think you did a fabulous job with it! I love the use of vocabulary, structure of the verse, and the dark theme.

This brightened my day! MORE!

Just thought we needed a little levity to relax us after the stress of losing Open Forum #1. I thought perhaps we should all be 'dark' for a bit so I took the liberty of changing your 'light' names to 'dark' (got a twofer in Alicat and LadyCat and Balladeer became DarkSong). Anyway, it was fun! Thanks for your comments.

Poet deVine,
Your dark candle lit up the forum so dark
That everyone is blinking from the spark.
And feeling around made me LOL.
