Broken Hearted

Each had crushes for each other
One was more than the other
His smile, his laughter
Set the mood for disaster

Day and night he was on her mind
Not knowing she will find
Something there that would break her heart
And tear something valuable apart

She looked and saw something that changed her life forever
Knowing now that they can never be together
He likes another person more than her
Yet that thought wasn't for sure

Maybe she's just a really good friend
Oh can her breaking heart ever mend?
She saw them hug for so long, and so tight
As if they hugged with all their might

Maybe gave each other a peck on the cheek
Why did she have to peek?
Her gazing eyes saw something she couldn't handle
She was so mad, she kicked off her sandal.

The next day some sense was slapped into her
By her loving mother and father
Still not knowing the truth, yet relieved by the possibilities
She thanked them for their hospitalities

Her peaceful dreaming now a nightmare
Now knowing he doesn't even care
The feeling of being loved now perishes
The like they once had she now cherishes

Before she goes to sleep
She takes a little peek
Hoping to see outside her window her special someone
But as she peeps she sees no one

Just like she wakes up with a broken heart
She sleeps with a broken heart
Dreaming sweet dreams of what she once had
She goes to bed lonely and sad
