He touched me through distance...a touch through time and space I could not hear his words, but could understand their meaning I could not see his face, but saw the beauty inside of him I could not touch his being, but could feel his powerful presence I knew him not, but felt like he was my soul One man, one chance, one night A night that could change my life forever A chance to learn to love and trust again A man that could see deep inside me I reached for him and found him there waiting...waiting to touch me Not my physical being, but a touch that goes much deeper He reached down within the hurt caused by others And found a minute piece of life that still existed He took his love, his heart, his soul and used them to breathe more life into me Slowly I responded to his attempts Day by day I became more alive Opening up doors that I had thought were locked forever One by one we walked through the doors together Facing the past and conquering the fears Places that contained hurt now were being overcome with happiness Feelings of despair were now being replaced with hope Thoughts of hate were now being overtaken by feelings of love A once shattered woman now becoming a beautiful fair lady Was he a knight in shining armor or just a brave warrior? Which ever he was, he won the battle A battle I thought no man could ever win He conquered the evil, found beauty hidden within, And made dreams become realities But most of all... Made me realize that fairy tales do come true |

MiLady: Glad to know there are still some of us out there that fight the good fight and make dreams come true. |

Sis...I'm happy that battle was won. Still searching for my knight, hey, I'll even settle for a mere peasant ------------------ "In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer" ~Albert Camus |

This Dark Knight will ever be at your service, my Lady. Chivalry, truly is not dead. It only gasps for a breath. ------------------ Pain is life, life is short, I will endure. DreamEvil© |
