The sigh of you What is this world today, Is it different from yesterdays? I count todays, 'til you arrive, Always waiting, For you will come, Your silent promise. What did we miss? Was it a lot? That time together, so blurry Erased, and left only with the sigh of you. What did we do? Did we save the world? Or was that just a dream, a nightmare. I can feel you in the dark, Your mind alone, Next to mine, Whispering your promise. Should I wait much longer? Will my will go on? Every year, Hoping, Searching, for the sigh of you. |

Wow....I am awed by the sense of longing in this piece. Again, very nicely done. ------------------ "The role of the writer is not to say what we can all say, but what we are unable to say." ~Anais Nin |

Severn, Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I don't get to thank enough of you individually. I lack the extra time this week to visit here for long, but when I do I like to just say thanks. Tyson |
