Imagine

I think now would be a good time,
to close your eyes,
and to explore a frontier.
A landscape far vaster
than the never-ending reaches
of unexplored space.
Close your eyes, open your mind.
And dream in the limitless expanse,
of the rich imagination
that lies buried in each person's soul.
Lies waiting for the right key.
The password to unlock the brain,
setting free the mysteries,
the answers,
and the questions,
to who we are.

What a thought-provoking piece ! You've truly forced me to think even this late at night, about my own vast expanse....fabulous!

Christopher you amaze me with your words!
You grab the heart
And pull the string
And leave a mind
To wandering!

Very nice!

Isn't it nice to imagine? Nicely done!

Thank you all for the kind words.
If I've made you think, then my time was well spent.

So much of ourselves we do not know...so much hidden potential. We spend unnumbered hours looking outside, when 'inside' is a true mistery to behold, and discovered. Thought provoking, and well written as always Christopher.

I think every poet should do this at least once a day...we have to mediate to get in touch with our poetic soul...I know I can't write from the 'surface'..I have to tune out everything and seek inner solitude. I enjoyed this 'peaceful' reminder. Thanks.

Christopher I've been struggling with my writing lately...and not winning the fight. I needed to hear what you've said in your poem!
Thanks What a great inspiration. Think I'll run off and have myself a festival of thoughts.
