I lie in bed
But cannot sleep
try to control
The urge to weep
If it would be
That we should part
Forever you'll live
Within my heart
My love for you
Is stronger now
We'll be together
I know not how
I do know this
Our love is true
And in good time
They'll see it too
From feable mind's
Come hate and lies
But in our hearts
True love never dies

I like the short lines, and how they seem to "fall" down the page as you read it....very easy on the eyes.....I write like this from time to time....it's one of my favorite forms. It seems to keep the reader interested, because of it's briefness....great job again !

Harold...very poignant piece. It is well crafted. Welcome to the group....I am looking for much more.
