I whispered your name into the breeze the trees answered back with Hallelujah's for you have left us here without you now you run and skip through heaven's gate angels waited by your bedside day and night comforting you with words from God your body grew weaker but your spirit strong 'til it was time for Him to take you home from heaven's rooms you look down on us I still feel your love and inspiration shining the angels assure me of this indeed that God knew to give you purple wings. in loving memory of Beverly, 2/15/50-9/5/99 |
