Feeling the pain of a good friend...this is for you...you know who you are.

I wrote this for a friend of mine who is going through a pretty rough time...I can only hope that they find their way. I just want to say that I always stand beside you, you know who you are.

I stare at you through misted eyes,
As I lay here in this bed of lies.

A love so rare,
A dream I thought you shared.

And now I realize,
You've handed me your pack of lies.

The white dove tainted,
As darkness across the sky is painted.

You always thought I was sappy,
So I guess now you're happy.

Look at what you've done to me,
Why bother - you can't see.

All the pain that you've in lain,
The gallent dragon has been slain.

But I am strong,
And so I'll go on - I'll live long.

As for you, you just wait,
I know what lies in your fate!

A curse on thee,
The same pain you've caused to me.

You are not as strong I think,
Therefore in that storm your ship will sink.

And you'll drown in you sea of pain,
Knowing that I once felt the same.

I wish your friend strength ... you are obviously a willing shoulder to cry on ... there should be more friends like you in this world ...
