Dylan, named for the God of the Sea, How much you've come to mean to me. Eyes as blue as the ocean, You've set my heart in motion. The child of my heart, such a special boy, Everyday you fill my heart with joy. Your kind little soul, so sweet and true, There simply can't be another as wonderful as you. I look down and there I see, My own eyes looking up at me. You are so much like me in many ways, Your loving, your laughter fill my days. And proud, how proud I am of you my son, You'll always be my number one. Anything you set your heat and mind to do, With study or practise will work out for you. I want for you the best life has to give, Filled with blessings, a wonderful way to live, And please remember whatever you do, You'll have a loving mother to stand by you. I've often wondered why I was here, The answer is now abundantly clear. I had a special duty to do, To bear this wonderful child that is you. I'm not that religious but I've got to say, God has belessed me in such a special way. To have a son, steadfast and true, And that little boy turned out to be you. So poor as it is, this is my thank you to Dylan, Whom we used to call our little villan. You've filled my life with love, laughter and fun, I thank God he blessed me and gave me my son. ------------------ Words that enlighten the soul are more precious than jewels. ~Isis~ |
