My friend, I never knew
I could not imagine these lives we lead
I understand that we drifted apart,
Now please understand me
I want to say be careful
Don't spread yourself too thin
Don't do all those drugs
You see what they easily do to you
Don't drop out of school
Don't sleep with so many guys
I know you're not listening
But I want to beg you to do these things
Please before it's too late
Dawn sits knocking at my window
And my eyes here do strain,
But I want to tell you I love you
And despite what you are, you once were.
I see you sometimes and I'm in shock
Because I don't recognize you anymore
My once best friend, all wasted and broken
Everybody laughs and calls you the town whore
My friend I know we may never be such again
Some roads are short and narrow
But I so enjoyed my time with you
Please take care of yourself for another.

Very moving Roxane no matter what road your life takes you down you will always remember the times spent and not the times lost.

Very touching and how sad that sometimes things like this are true, but I echo the sentiments of rogen of the night. Memories to be cherished and time lost cannot be regained.
