Rocky road runs like a serpent Swaying gently with its rear As the sunset lead its chasers To a trail of a deer Here, they hear the quiet whispers As the night allures them in “Don’t go further into darkness, Where your dreams cannot be seen” And the brave explorers stagger Some turn back and others go But what happened to them after I decided not to know |

Quite impressive...this poem is very smmoth...leading the reader further and further into it's wake. I really enjoyed the imagery you used with the road...I could picture that easily in my mind. Nice rhythym and rhyme. ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |
