( in a songwriting mood tonight)

I am tired and I am through
With looking for someone to give love to.
Times like this, I feel so blue
Looking for someone to give love to.
Though it could be I'm to blame
All my dreams turn out the same
Nothing more than ballyhoo
Looking for someone to give love to.

At times out there, it's like a zoo
Looking for someone to give love to.
What's a kindred soul to do?
Looking for someone to give love to.
Tired of dodging all that flak
Take my love and give some back!
Ain't there anybody who
Is looking for someone to give love to?

There's always a heart looking to be loved ...it's finding the one open enough to receive it that's the trick!

Seems like Ron's next job is to add sound, and you may then add the tempo. Good work, as always.

Balladeer
to love you is something
I think one would fear
for if I cared
and you let me go
where would all I feel go?

To love is sheer magic
to feel
to express
such emotion
is beyond compare
to be as two
but then as one
leaves a heart
in such despair
but one has to admit
such a love
is so very rare....

Although you say you can not sing

Such melodies with words you bring
Oh Balladeer, just know one thing
No tune could ever be as grand...
Grand as the gems writ by your hand!

Balladeer,

You have done it again...how and where do you come up with these things? You may sing like the budwiser frogs..but your words flow beautifully.

Balladeer,
I think it would be fun to ride the tail of this comet. So I'll add my well done.

How can I post to this one
It's as if you read my mind
I spend my days in searching
But it's never love I find
I have so much to give
I don't know what to do
So I spend my life looking
for someone to give love to
I know that out there somewhere
Waits my own soul mate
I only hope I find him
Before it is too late

Well written Balladeer!!!

What is a song but poetry without the music? This is such a lonely song, Balladeer - and of course it's your wonderful talent showing through here!

Balladeer I think I would also like to hear that to music.

When one does find such love you speak of.
That person is in awe of the beauty they now see.
Nothing more they would rather have than to be happy as can be.

This is the second writing I've read of yours!!! Well, Done!!!!

If you mean your voice is rough or raspy, well then, I'll love it. Besides I like the Budweiser frogs.
