You see me every day,
Pass me along your way.
But do you really see me there,
Or is that just an empty stare?
For hours we sit and talk,
Sometimes, we take long walks.
Do you really hear,
Or am I speaking to deaf ears?
You know who I am, call me a friend.
But do you really know me, my friend?
When you look into my eyes,
Tell me, what do you see?
Is it a reflection of you ... or one of me?

Bravo! Can I have a second helping of your work?

What a poem! This is great ... good rhyme, and a powerful message ... bravo, encore!

Back to the top where it belongs!

Thank you!

Sax: I do have other posting they have been pushed backed because of new postings, and I plan to post more of my work as I feel the urge. I'm very glad you liked it.

Nocht: Thanks for pushing me back to the top. I'm glad you think my work is good enough for a second look.

These are very honest thoughts that I believe we all ponder.....
Wow!!!  To go back through these old blue pages!!!  It's amazing how the time flies by too quickly anymore!!!!
Hope you are well!!!!
