I dreamt again last night, Of wild and angry seas, Of storms and all their might, That forced me to my knees. Beloved cliffs no more, A gloomy place of death, With poisoned air and gore, To trap me by my breath. But for my love of light, My heart ablaze with pain, Braved yet another fight, Which never seems in vain. Yet smashed down on the floor My face is wet with tears, I've lost another war, Too many through the years. I dreamt again last night, Of wild and angry seas, Of storms and all their might, That forced me to my knees. Angel |

Angel this poem was very well written...the use of symbolism in it worked very well. Nicely done! ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |

Angel, good job here. I like the way it flows, and I agree with hoot...good symbolism. ------------------ The only man worth your tears will never make you cry... |
