Eyes of a friend

I see your eyes as you try to hide them,
Knowing the feelings that burns inside.
Sensing the desire from across the room,
Knowing your afraid to face the truth.

You think you are alone in this,
As you sneak your clever peek.
I brave the chance to talk to you,
A kiss I really would like to sneak.

I act so confident in front of you,
You seem so captured by my way,
Could you possibly feel the way I do?
Can your eyes see the love I try to display?

How I long to feel you hand in mine,
To be understood by loving embrace.
For our bodies to intertwine,
For it’s ecstasy that I chase.

If only your eyes could see the truth,
Could I have more than friendship from you?
For you have made my wish come true,
Your beautiful eyes have brought me to you.

Good poem and A nice contrast to the other you just posted....are you getting into trouble now? Making bad decisions? Marrying too young?
