Untitled 6 (couldnt think of one )

An ordinary night.
but somewhat special.
This man sat alone,
like many others had
done so before.
But tonight was different.
He had something
important to do.
Slowly,he raised
the instrument in his hands.
With a musician's grace,
he started playing.
Filling the air with
a sweet but sad melody.
The familiarity in the music
was too much to bear.
He finishes the last note
just as a tear dropped.
No music in the world
could hide his sorrow and pain.
His heart ached with every note played,
yet he feels a special kind of connection.
He could feel her presence,
could almost see her sitting
on their favorite rock.
But the past is gone
and tomorrow must come.
Whispering one last word
before he left.
"Happy Birthday my love.."

Beautifully haunting in it's sadness....i could hear those notes of longing played from his lips in notes for only her...wonderful!
