When does it end
this pain so great
where is a friend
whos hand to take

Things meant to be
actions take course
just want to be free
not filled with remorse

Times of the past
forever seem real
how long will it last
this black that I feel

Please take it away
erase from my heart
please show me the way
please Lord, press restart

I cry and I shake
as they rise to the top
these smiles I fake
dear heart, please soon stop.

You once stole my breath
I felt like a child
I now ache for death
my request has been filed
