Trampled Dreams I don't know if there will ever be a time again that I can call you mine I hope for that day once again All those days I cherished so I now fully see what I did I feel the blow to the heart I know and understand what I did to "US" Knowing everything that was wrong and right I trampled on our dreams This was a very dreadful thing There is so much love inside I Love the way we spent our time So many days with you were mine I threw them away by a single act Seeminly not caring what the conseguences would be So many things I misunderstood So many things I wish I'd thought about I wish I had showed you how much I truly care ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I hope you enjoy!! ------------------ "Never let anyone keep you from your dreams, follow your heart, be true to yourself, and if that special someone does to, go ahead, walk together side by side as one!! |

We always feel sad after the fact but give little thought to the consequences before. Your poem explains that very well. Nice job. |
