On the edge of a smile Her life a lies soft apology Some small gesture to her past She battles the ideal Between what she dreams And what is real. Her eyes have held no focus But now sideways Sweeping glance. She so desperately wants (As she has always known) Soft winds and exotic flowers To murder time And her knowing. She wholly comprehends The intensity of excess The inadequacy of persuasion. And while white knights Compare visions With cruel intentions She awakens to a dark Translation Of sexual claustrophobia. |

WOW....where have you been hiding this stuff?? ------------------ Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same. Thank you all for leaving footprints!! |
