In a Dream

In a dream I walked hand in hand,
with one that knew my soul.
Not a word was needed,
hearts spoke.

In a dream I danced cheek to cheek,
with strength and gentleness.
Communication was movement.

In a dream i worked side by side
with earnest intelligence.
Accomplishments were shared.

In a dream I lay beside passion,
abandonment and inhibition.
satisfaction was mutual.

They say dreams are just that.
I still believe.
