Oh so long since I've felt the doubt, worry and pain. I just don't understand, why? why me again? Are my dues not paid, my bridges not crossed? how can hopes of love be suddenly tossed. oh how I long to be carressed, loved and cherished, but to no avail I feel love has perished. |

Dear searching: I can tell you from experience that I have felt this way a million times before. I also know that for someone to say that they understand really isn't much help, words are so inadequate. However ther is a few words I can say that might help. Everytime life deals me a hurt, I take it, and turn it around, and use it creatively, poetry is a very good outlet. pain is all in how you look at it, it can be destructive, or it can be used to create beautiful works like the one you have posted here. I know where you have been and I feel your pain. There is always hope. Without hope we die. In death there is no joy. To know true happiness we must experience pain and loss. It is the only way we can truely accomplish extasy. |

Searching...I've been there before, keep your chin up. I like the way you stated this, may I make a minor suggestion to imporve the readibility? Oh, so long since I've felt doubt, worry and pain. I feel love has perished. ------------------ Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same. thanks for all your comments, it has been a long time since I've written any poetry, use to b my past time, I need some brushing up and appreciate any suggestions. I don't know why I ever quit as it is a great release. |
