I hope this isn't offensive ... it's just some stuff i wrote when i was in school and i felt pretty much as you describe yourself feeling. The difference was i never handled it the way you do ... i was never strong enough .. so anyway here they are:

The world just seems to keep on turning
As my world slowly falls apart
The sun just seems to keep on burning
while the warmth is disappearing from my heart

Why won't my tears fall?
Why can't i cry?
Can i do nothing
but ask the question why?

no single problem
just disappears
it simply hides away
beneath your dreams and fears

They ripped off the butterfly's pretty wings
When she'd only just learned to fly
they threw the pretty wings away
and made the butterfly cry

they told her she was just like them
now she had no pretty wings
she'd become a stereotype
of all god's other things

She'd driven them insane with jealousy
till they could take no more
so they took what made her special
and crushed it on the floor

Those were really beautiful and sad. I especially like the one about the butterfly.
I live on the faith that there is always someone out there who feels worse than you do. I guess its actually true. I never realized all the strength I had until everyone brought it to my attention. Thank
you.

I find it sad when people think they have to change you to be like them, the butterfly poem was very touching, but scribe, I for one think you still fly

Scribe this was so sad. Hoot is right! God made each one individual for a reason, so we weren't all the same. You fly with what He gave you! May He put your wings back!
