She swims at a dignified pace.
Not a drop will splash on her face.
Each of her hairs stays in place.

And then she ascends from the pool
And sits, knees clenched, on a stool
The way she was taught in school.

On occasion she'll indulge in cream pie,
But she keeps her sculpted lips dry
With napkin pats frequent and sly.

She'll satisfy each appetite
With a decorous nibble or bite,
Forever the lady, quite.

Dom, I just discovered this little gem! Cute!
(I'm still playing catch-up after being gone for almost a week!) I think this has great potential to be one of your best! Perhaps a really hillarious ending? (which I was expecting from you!) What do you think? (I hope I haven't offended you.) Great poem though, as it is. I guess I'm partial to humor! (I wish I could write it!)
